{SummaryTitle}

These incredibly lifelike animal photographs by artist Keng Ly don’t actually show living, breathing animals. Nope, these incredible images are actually intricate works of art created by the Singapore artist from resin and paint.

I’m sure you’re not the only one’s who’s been fooled by these 3D artworks. The artist creates her unique creations by filling small bowls and large buckets with layer upon layer of acrylic paints and resin. The result is a shockingly realistic depiction of various strains of aquatic wildlife from goldfish, to turtles and octopus.

The artist took her incredibly detailed work to another level, by creating some animals that protruded through the surface of the water. She explained: “The whole idea here was to give the art work an even more 3D effect therefore you can have a better view from any angle. I think there are still many other techniques to explore.”
