These ‘Family Chairs’ by Living Divani have been outfitted in scarves, mitts and sweaters in Junya Ishigami’s ‘Picnic’ installation. Featured at in Belgium at Interieur 2010, the five steel tubular chairs are personified beyond their collection’s name.

Representing the different members of a family, these chairs have much character in their shapes and sizes, offering a perfect subjects for Junya Ishigami’s ‘Picnic’ installation. As cute as they are already on the designer’s website, I’d much prefer to sit in a cable-knit chair as clothed by Ishigami.
