Cyborg Snake-Like Cultural Centers
The Jeongok Prehistory Museum is Oddly Futuristic

By: Meghan Young (Superstar) Nov 14, 12

The Jeongok Prehistory Museum in South Korea is oddly futuristic for a place honoring the past. Nevertheless, it offers an engaging way for people to appreciate where they came from. It is also quite poetic. Located on an ancient archeological site where the very first Acheulian hand axe was discovered, the museum is an prime example of how advanced the human race has become. The Jeongok Prehistory Museum is a computer-enabled design that focuses as much on form as it does on function.

Designed by X-TU Architects, the Jeongok Prehistory Museum has a polished steel shell that contains stark white interiors. With a perforated exterior, a ton of natural light is used to illuminate the enlightening exhibits.
