The UK-based photographer Janet Waters has gone to great lengths to capture intense shots of water bubbles. Waters applied macro lenses, food dye and soap to her work, mixing all the elements together in an epic display of artwork.
Waters’ images appear much like spirals of metal wire, popping out with the help of bright greens, reds and yellows. Texture also comes to the fore here. Although viewers cannot actually feel the rivets of the bubbles, they nonetheless come out of the surreal snapshots, seen in the rounded contours and angular edges. She has at the same time developed a knack for angles, picking up on the best sides and perspectives to zoom in on.
