This James Fallows conference explores the economic and leadership position of America in the future global playing field. Fallows is America’s National Correspondent for The Atlantic and a best-selling author.
Fallow discusses how America does not necessarily need to panic about the concept of shifting global patterns. Foreign economies are steadily rising, while America is evidently struggling to maintain a neutral balance. That being said, it is also relevant to maintain that America’s problems are not comparable to those of China and other growing nations.
The American economy need not shiver, but behave with confidence. If American policy was to shift into more calm disposition, the process of global trade would become much easier. There is still room for optimism when considering American economics.
