As the range of offerings have grown the brand has become one of the most influential over the past few seasons. The cost of goods has risen as well, oftentimes competing with department stores and other similar price bracket retailers.
Luckily, this has resulted in the executive decision to drop the brand’s prices. During a discussion at The New School in New York, CEO Mickey Drexler of J Crew revealed that pricing is a huge concern for the brand and that it’s taking measures to bring them down.
