MP3 Record Players
The iTurntable is Adapted Old Audio Technology for a Revamped Retro Electronic

By: Amelia Roblin (Superstar) Sep 3, 12
{SummaryTitle}

Modern technology comes with the benefits of accessibility, convenience and quality but the iTurntable nostalgically references earlier days of personal music machines and the golden era of illustrious musicians. What this device does is offer its user the facade of a classic record player, combined with his substantial collection of diverse digital tracks.

Austin Yang’s invention is an iconic and complex iPod and iPhone dock that’s fitted for the handset’s positioning in the center of a simulated vinyl record. The disk spins as songs play from the smartphone through the integrated speakers, but the elaborate iTurntable is not otherwise completely aesthetic. The tone arm becomes the tactile control for playing, pausing and skipping tracks.
