The ‘Invader Space-One’ Art Piece Goes into Space

Ceramic mosaic artist Invader has been known for placing his creations all over the world and he recently sent his latest mosaic the ‘Invader Space-One’ into the stratosphere.

This is the first footage of the small ceramic artwork, which includes a red space invader character standing on top of a blueish-green platform with yellow squares floating around the character’s head.

The video that Invader released features the mosaic at its highest point in the sky just as the balloon pops and starts its descent towards earth. Invader sent the balloon into space on August 22nd, 2012 and released this short clip on October 1st.

The whole project is still under construction that documents the entire process and it is being titled Art4Space.
