Faux Bois Cornets
Richard Taylor's Ice Cream Cone Planters Look Very Appetizing

By: Meghan Young (Superstar) Nov 8, 11

A person could not be blamed for taking an unfortunate bite out of one of these Ice Cream Cone Planters. They look so realistic that someone could easily mistaken them for the real thing. Of course, they would have especially more to explain if there was actually a plant already residing in one of these fake cornets.

Created by Richard Taylor, the Ice Cream Cone Planters are part of an art movement dubbed Faux Bois (false wood), which was mainly prevalent during the late 19th century through the 1940s. Taylor has decided to revive this long-lost art form to the delight of garden enthusiasts everywhere.

Quirky and playful, Richard Taylor’s Ice Cream Cone Planters add that touch of whimsy that every garden and yard should have.
