Hyper-Lapse Urban Videos
Zweizwei Creates an Artistic Video Showcasing China's Guangzhou City

By: Remy Choo (Potential) Dec 5, 12
{SummaryTitle}

Unlike traditional time-lapse videos, these urban hyper-lapse videos include movement which introduces panning, tracking, and ultimately a change in perspective.

This dynamic filming technique involves capturing multiple images while moving the camera on a tripod, then restitching the images together into a video and, finally, stabilizing the video using editing software. The result from that long and arduous process is a stunningly breathtaking visual experience.

Russian art studio ‘Zweizwei’ created this video as a project for Royalink Investment Ltd. Media Advertisement Agency. Director of photography Pryadko Artem and his assistant Shishkovski Dmitry worked together to capture the beauty and wonder of modern Guangzhou, which is the largest city and capital of China’s Guangdong province with a population of about 4.5 million people.
