{SummaryTitle}

The House in Keyaki by SNARK and OUVI features a simplistic facade and angular roofing details. Though small in scale, this compact abode boasts an open concept interior that is rich with incoming natural light.

This two storey home is located in the heart of Keyaki, an outskirt in Honjo, Japan. SNARK’s Sunao Koase and Yu Yamada joined forces with Shin Yokoo of OUVI to design the bronze-clad abode that is a minimalist and modern take on city living.

The House in Keyaki features a slender design that displays various window openings and a central staircase that serves as the home’s dividing spatial element. In addition to a lower level kitchen, living room, bedroom and study, the home’s second level is home to a small attic and a gorgeous rooftop terrace.
