It may not be news to frequent drinkers and sufferers of hangovers, but there are a variety of causes for hangovers as well as local and international hangover remedies as well.
While hangover sufferers may have thought they tried every solution in the book, the Forget Hangover infographic introduces a few international hangover remedies to try and fix the alcohol pains. Some strangely popular solutions around the world include, but are by no means limited to, shrimp, pickled plums, sour pickle juice and tripe soup. While these options may help rid of the tell-tale headaches, nausea, tremors and other signs of leftover inebriation, it’s much better to stay hydrated throughout the evening, alternating alcohol and water, than to wake up sick the next morning.
