Ever wondered what your shadow gets up to when you are not looking? Brooklyn-based creative photographer Katie Sokoler makes fun and engaging street art projects like this one shown in the gallery above.
She and her fella Matty cut out life-sized figures of themselves, plastered them onto walls and city surfaces and then waited for the right moment for a passerby to be lined up with the shadow. The finished product is a gorgeous series of Shadow Pictures.
I love the balloon shadow girl. I hope my shadow is tap dancing behind my back!
