The Giles Spring 2012 Collection is Out of this World

{SummaryTitle}

After announcing his departure from Emanuel Ungaro after only two years to focus solely on his own collection, Giles Deacon’s presentation of the Giles Spring 2012 collection was truly incredible and made fans of the designer understand his decision to go solo. Giles is clearly a fashion house that deserves the designer’s undivided attention.

The show opened with a gorgeous white pantsuit complete with a white swan headdress resting atop the model’s head. However, Deacon wanted to clear presumptions stating, “this is so not a collection about Black Swan.”

So what was the collection about? Well, intricacy is one word that pops into mind. But also femininity, in the most fierce, strong manner possible. The Giles Spring 2012 collection starts out with several white and nude-colored pieces, but always one to go out with a bang, Giles Deacon ended the show with blood-red evening gowns that are sure to turn heads and break some hearts while doing so.
