Creepy Realistic Pencil Art
These Fredo 3D Art Drawings Look Astoundingly Real

By: Clarissa Hilary Basham (Apprentice) Mar 25, 11
{SummaryTitle}

Fredo is a 17-year-old, Chile-born artist who makes incredibly realistic 3D pencil drawings that are somewhat creepy—by subject matter. Inspired by artists Rembrandt and Beksinki, this talented young artists draws for months at a time on one piece.

The Fredo 3D art drawings are so realistic, they make it hard to differentiate what is drawn and what is real. Fredo fuses photography and pencil drawings into his art. He draws the 3D image, then adds real-life pieces to be a part of the art. By taking a photo after all is said and done, the outcome is a 3D effect in which the viewer is tricked into thinking the art is a photograph with no drawing involved.

The subject matter is fairly dark: skulls, people begging for change, chilling trees and severed fingers. Nonetheless, the viewer is likely to be awestruck by Fredo’s incredibly realistic art.
