I’ve seen copious amounts of Francisco Perez illustrations circulating the Internet and it’s with great honor and privilege that I get to introduce readers to the action-packed images of this amazing Miami-based artist.
Drawing mostly under the pseudonyms of Pac23 and Pacman23, Francisco Perez has a crisp and vibrant aesthetic style that emphasizes just the right parts and, to put it colloquially, is “fresh to death.”
Perhaps the defining quality of Perez’s work—and what may be the reason why so many people gravitate towards his art—is the fact that it feels representative of contemporary youth culture. Things urbanites find endlessly cool such as pandas, superheroes, video games, skateboarding and hoodies are littered throughout Perez’s pop art.
If Francisco Perez continues to produce crowd-pleasing works the way he has been consistently doing, he will no doubt become one of the most influential modern artists of this generation.
