The Photoshop in Real Life series pokes fun at the surreal ‘Convert to Smart Object’ and ‘Puppet Warp’ options that are so frequently used on the database. While these choices are viable and preferred by countless magazines, newspapers and advertising agencies, Borsi points to just how unrealistic the manipulations are. When placed in this existential context, the contrasts that are commonly drawn between the device and living beings become all the more present.
