Domestic Molecular Cookers
The Electrolux Mo'Sphere Serves Culinary Physics to the Masses

By: Amelia Roblin (Superstar) Aug 8, 12

Amateur cooks of the general public may soon be able to dabble further into experimental cuisine with the Electrolux Mo’Sphere. The streamlined countertop appliance has been conceived as an entry for the Electrolux Design Lab 2012.

An absolutely delicious computer rendering job was undertaken by its designer, Yunuen Hernandez‚Ä®, who visually demonstrates the different functions of the compact kitchen contraption. It comes with a motor-integrated charging base, a non-stick circular skillet, a couple of different bulbous glass containers, a lid and a selection of food prep accessories.

The Electrolux Mo’Sphere cooker can blend, steam, fry and more. Molecular gastronomy would be at the fingertips of aspiring chefs, affording them one single, extremely flexible piece of cutting-edge culinary technology that works with the magic of ingredients and adds a new dimension to dinner.
