The project takes no time at all and is a great way to involve kids in baking. You take sugar and mix it with food coloring, red or green is a festive choice for the Christmas season; then, you lay out your clumped sugar on a baking sheet and pop it in the oven for ten minutes on a low temperature. The result is that the colored sugar will have hardened into sparkly groupings creating edible glitter. Sprinkle it over all your desserts to add festive flavor to your dishes.
