Chanel and Kenzie were just two of the Fall 2009 runway shows that presented the look of Russian Matryoshka dolls.
Chanel Pre-fall 2009 showed the look in their ad campaign, featuring models with life-sized Matryoshka dolls. Kenzie presented the look within their designs, in the form of trench coats covered in the faces of the dolls.
The look has translated further in terms of accessory design for companies, with Braccialini showing a handbag, Stolen Thunder’s wooden necklace, and Polli’s steel necklace.
