Petz Scholtus Turns An Old Jug Into a Bidon Lamp

Petz Scholtus’ Bidon Lamp project details how you can turn any old plastic jug or bottle into your own lighting solution. Bidon means “barrel” or “can” in Spanish, and judging from Scholtus’ examples in the gallery above, old olive oil vessels or milk jugs seem to work the best.

Petz Scholtus recommends CFL light bulbs for your DIY Bidon Lamp, and says that the same process can be used to make your own light-up stools if you don’t want to make a hanging lamp. Neat!
