I may not have a clue where to start when it comes to chess, but I can appreciate innovation. This designer was either bored or ingenious, maybe even a bit of both, to have created this impressive DIY Internet chess table.
The DIY Internet chess table works by using a projector to beam a chessboard onto a clear surface and, according to Engadget, the moves are then captured via webcam and sent back to an Internet server. The moves by the human are then recognized and countered; he or she is then told where to make the computer’s move by arrows.
