Windowed Noodle Branding
DeCecco Pasta Packaging Gives Consumers a Generous View of its Contents

By: Amelia Roblin (Superstar) Dec 5, 12
{SummaryTitle}

Often by necessity, food packaging completely covers up its contents so to keep them protected. DeCecco pasta packaging avoids the subsequent common approach to depict its insides by means of illustration or photograph, opting instead for a broad window for honest exposure.

Kate Yip expanded the small transparent plastic portion of the brand’s old box and clarified the product’s overall image. A rosé red was chosen to color the five opaque sides of the carton and the surfaces were treated to a contemporary formatting of white type throughout. Aside from the lettering, the view of the fusilli, the bow-ties and the fettuccine provides the visual intrigue of DeCecco pasta packaging. These are the sort of boxes you can actually leave out on the counter to function as effective, attractive and disposable canisters.
