When it comes to portraits, it’s not uncommon for photographers and makeup artists to enhance the beauty of the person being captured. Yet, with these Davide Faggiano shots the opposite seems to be achieved.
Clearly, black isn’t always flattering. Davide Faggiano uses inky paint in order to capture a vulnerability from his subjects otherwise not visible. Interestingly, he had to cover them up to do so.
