Named one of America’s Most Promising Social Entrepreneurs in 2011, Dalberg is a New York-based consulting firm with a social and environmental lean. Global Operating Partner Andrew Stern, Global Managing Partner James Mwangi, and Partner and Executive Chairman Henrik Skovby were featured in the Bloomberg Businessweek article that explained that “Skovby says it’s important that Dalberg grow and remain profitable but not maximize profits at the expense of its mission.”
Indeed, the global firm, which had a revenue of over $15 million in 2010, is a stellar example of how business and purpose can mesh in a way that retains top-notch talent (they have 10 offices around the world) and works on large-scale projects like what Dalberg did with a UN anti-malaria project in Zambia.
