There is a massive rise in the information being released each day and the amount of attention being paid to each piece of information is decreasing dramatically (this phenomenon is more commonly known as the attention crash). As a result of this, the importance and power of filters to help determine what information is relevant for particular people is enormous.
Soon, the world will resemble a place in which each website is working to predict relevant content for users. While there are many positive aspects to this, there are also some important downsides. These filtering systems are ridden with the possibility of omitting information that user might actually be interested in or even require.
