CNCRT Body Balm packaging would enter into the market with a clever brand identity technique, appealing to those male buyers who might still be disinterested with special detergents and creams.
Yoshifumi Yokoyama’s design embodies a burliness and a durability and it goes very much against the merchandizing conventions typically associated with feminine items. Concrete was cast into hollow rectangular prisms of a dark and stony gray with hard edges and sharp corners. If it weren’t for the push administering top, one would hardly assume that something as soft as lotion might be stored inside CNCRT Body Balm packaging.
One would hope that refills would come in recyclable containers since these solid dispensers are hard-wearing enough for repeated reuse.
