Street Art Nightclubs
The Les Bains Parisian Night Club Has Been Turned into a Street Art Gallery

{SummaryTitle}

From a 19th century bathhouse to a world-renowned nightclub frequented by generations of entertainment industry elites, Paris’ Les Bains is no stranger to the re-visioning process. In 2010, when the building was declared a safety hazard and forced to close its doors, owner Jean-Pierre Marois simply saw this as another opportunity for change.

However, before undertaking renovations for the 2014 reopening, which will completely revamp the space, yet another vision has come to light. Marois has decided to hand Les Bains over to local art based dealer Magda Danysz with the idea of transforming it into a unique gallery tailored specifically to contemporary street art. Beginning in January and extending through April 30, 2013, Danysz has arranged for 50 artists to create and showcase their work all throughout Les Bains, turning it into one of the most eccentric street art exhibits ever assembled.

Although the art will be lost with the building, even if you could make it to Paris before the 30th, Les Bains doors are closed to the general public. Instead, photographers will be documenting and showcasing the transformation.
