Painful Procrastination Comics
Cladwell Tanner Takes You Back to School with This Witty Comic

By: Susan Keefe (Rockstar) Dec 17, 11

Funny man Cladwell Tanner created this hilarious (and accurate) depiction of academic procrastination. Entitled ‘The 8 Stages of an All-Nighter’, these witty graphics are uncomfortably truthful.

As the holidays approach, university students everywhere are bent over glowing computer screens gnawing ravenously on pencils as outlet for their stress. Do fall term finals have to be this nerve-wracking? Probably not, but as this comic shows the average student treats procrastination as their primary occupation.

Covering everything from the optimistic and well-meaning set up to that first ill-fated useless online surfing session, Cladwell Tanner covers all the academic pitfalls of the average post secondary student. The images capture the experience and shame of writing an important paper that should have been started a week or two ago in two hours. This scenario is something that every current and former pupil can relate to.

Sure to give you a few unpleasant flashbacks to your university career, The 8 Stages of an All-Nighter is funny because it’s true.
