The Chicks in Hats by Julie Persons Showcases Mini Millinery

The Chicks in Hats photo series is not what it sounds like. While some guys will groan with disappointment, the only chicks in this photo project involves the yellow, furry kind. Nevertheless, once they get over that, they will join the masses who will not be able to contain their coos and smiles as they take in these fashionable fowls.

From toques to top hats and veils, the Chicks in Hats photo series showcases a range of mini millinery that accentuate the cuteness of each ‘model.’ The Chicks in Hats was photographed by Maine-based artist Julie Persons. While t there are a slew of guesses as to why and how she put together such a memorable series, she states simply, “I like to put hats on my chicks and take photographs of them.”
