Color-Coded LED Chronographs
The Casseopeia Watch Has a Space-Age System of Displaying the Time

By: Amelia Roblin (Superstar) Sep 12, 12

To understand the hour, you will have to translate the unique display mode of the Casseopeia Watch from illuminated spots into actual numbers, but the purpose of this unconventional chronometer is not simply to confuse its wearer. The designer of the futuristic-looking accessory may have aimed primarily to invent a sharp and avant-garde aesthetic for this device.

The sleek black band is a cuff style of wristwatch that doesn’t completely close around the back. The central section across the front of the timepiece has been made with a keen zigzagging pattern, framing a series of tiny dotted LED lights that change every 60 seconds. To read Sam Freeman’s Casseopeia Watch, the colors represent different digit placements and the number of each one conveys the value.
