Good design does not always have to equate high price tags. Nor does it have to use new and expensive materials. We will once again learn to re-use and repair. Design can also change the pathway of spending by introducing “recession-friendly” alternatives. A lot of interesting designs appear when we change our attitude.
Have a look at the ‘More’ cardboard elements by Giorgio Caporaso that are going to be launched at the Milan Design Week this April. Don’t they exemplify usefulness, elegance and recession-friendly design?
