Salty Butter Exhibits
Sculptor Jim Victor Thinks Outside the Box with Butter Sculptures

By: Ariel Weber (Star) Jan 2, 13

Sculptor Jim Victor along with his wife Marie Pelton make use of a very unconventional material to create these fascinating butter sculptures.

If you haven’t guessed already, the sculptures are in fact made out of 100% butter. In a decision that Paula Deen would definitely approve of, the couple used this common household product to create works of art for over 11 years now. Each of the statues has been meticulously and intricately produced to create life like three-dimensional installations. At first glance, many may be fooled into thinking these sculptures are made from marble. To pay homage to where the butter came from, many, if not most of its installations always include a cow.

The butter sculptures, though mesmerizing, may trigger some to become inexplicably hungry for the salty spread.
