Brett Beyer Captures Rooftop Architectural Images

{SummaryTitle}

New York-based photographer Brett Beyer has captured the magic that is Millstein Hall at Cornell University’s College of Architecture and Planning. Building upon Google Earth’s theme of mapping the world from an elevated perspective, Beyer’s scheme involved the insertion of a camera into the ceiling of the 25,000 square-foot structure.

The Beyer project took 250 snapshots of every inch of the Millstein Hall. Once this was done, the images were amalgamated with the use of Photoshop. This lengthy undertaking produced a breathtaking aerial view of the recently constructed building. In line with the institution’s focus on architecture, the collection displays incredible winding staircases, unique seating arrangements and interactive student activity. This set is now featured in Cornell University’s quarterly newsletter, and will certainly attract some well-deserved attention from the academy.
