The Ponystep Magazine 'Boxing Clever' Photoshoot is Upscale

Ponystep Magazine’s ‘Boxing Clever’ editorial is centered upon British boxer Amir Khan. Khan has quickly become a paragon of not only athletics but also style, apparent in his recent collaborations with Net-A-Porter’s ‘The Way I Dress’ films.

Stylist Phoebe Arnold makes Khan appear sleek and upscale in spite of the red fighting gloves and black helmet. This is fitting with Khan’s dainty-yet-rough persona that is so accurately reflected in the dialogue.

Writer David Hellqvist met with Khan at the Fernandez & Wells restaurant at the peak of Fashion Week’s Menswear day. It was there that the celebrity sportsman spoke of his intense profession, “I might be nervous before the bell goes but once I’m in the ring, only me and my opponent exist.”
