Don’t be deceived by the images in the Bosch Freezer campaign. Those aren’t real Mother Nature-made icebergs, they are domestic man-made ones. Although that distinction is important, it is even more important to note how the latter still manages to affect the former. As stated by the campaign’s creators, Berlin-based ad agency DDB, “Frozen freezer departments waste a lot of energy and contribute to global warming. Or to put it straight: if you have icebergs in your fridge they are missing somewhere else.”
Although the Bosch Freezer campaign focuses on environmentally unfriendly freezers, it informs people about what they don’t want to happen in their homes and offices. As a result, the Bosch Freezer campaign advocates the use of NoFrost-Technology, which prevents the ice from building up in the first place.
