Bizarre Alien Carcass Decor
Tim Prince's Facehugger is Formed From The Bones of Dead Animals

By: Ian Andrew Panganiban (Star) Mar 13, 13

The human mind can go into dark reaches and this nightmarish bone art display proves it. The ‘facehugger’ bone display is crafted by artist Tim Prince who is an avid fan of the ‘Alien’ film franchise who also happens to be very talented in bone sculptures. Prince’s work is mostly compromised of disturbing bone displays and and bottled-up invertebrates.

For the ‘facehugger,’ Prince used bones from critters like turtles, minks, wild turkeys, coyotes, skunks and mouses. The display is about 35cm high on a 18cm diameter base. The larvae bone sculpture is both horrifying and awesome at once. The detail in the placement of the bones is just something a person has to appreciate. Even Ridley Scott would be at awe to this intricately designed cadaver.
