With Black Friday violence an unfortunate reality in the US each year, Canadian comedian and actor Marlon Palmer aka ‘That Dude McFly,’ questions the shopping holiday from a Canadian point of view.
Known best for his comedic viral social commentary “Shit Jamaican People Say” and “Shit Toronto People Say,” That Dude McFly orchestrates this distinctly Canadian take on the American holiday. He explains that in Canada, Boxing Day is the “holy grail of shopping days.”
He doesn’t understand Black Friday violence like last year when a man was shot while in line for a new pair of Jordan sneakers. He also wonders if all the running around and trampling is worth it.
“There’s one thing I do know, you Americans are crazy,” declares McFly.
