Dumpsters are not pretty. They are boxy, stained and dented. But why should they be? They are trash receptacles. They are where cellophane packaging and dirty diapers briefly hang out before taking a dirt nap.

There are a few folks, however, who think otherwise. Maybe dumpsters can be pretty. Here are a few examples of people trying to make their alleys and their world a better place to live.
