By: Brandon Bastaldo (Prodigy) Apr 4, 13

For most people growing up in North America, going to popular fast food chains like McDonald’s is a very familiar experience, but this particular location of the Golden Arches in Batumi, Georgia is certain to be like no other food dive you’ve seen before.

Visiting McDonald’s immediately evokes images of this worldwide fast food franchise’s iconic red and gold colors, but thanks to the creative work of the design team known as the KHMALADZE Architects, this Batumi, Georgia McDonald’s location is showing that fast food, high-art and overall efficiency make a potent mixture.

Given the task of designing a facility that combines a gas fueling station and McDonald’s eatery in the middle of a busy city center in Batumi, the KHMALADZE Architects designed this building of design excellence and if not for the sign out front, you would never guess this place serves double cheeseburgers.
