Bamboo SK8 is a social enterprise and ecologically based skateboard brand with a passion for both quality decks made from sustainable materials and giving back to its communities. The decks are made from sustainable bamboo from managed forests and for every 100 boards sold, the eco-conscious brand gives a deck to an at-risk youth.
Founded in 2008, Bamboo SK8 also supports several non-governmental organizations including WWF, American Red Cross, Stand Up For Skateparks and the Surfrider Foundation. The Oceanside, California-based skate company manufactures both decks and longboards, while they also endeavor to recycle used boards once they have been worn down.
