Apparently, the conventional idea of modern design has been held within the box too long, as the emergence of awkward leaning structures shows how architects are bending the rules.
Many buildings, towers and houses since the Industrial Revolution have been boxy and boring. The popular minimalist look calls for straight lines, smooth faces and compact configurations. It seems that architects are starting to get tired too as they are designing abodes that are precariously perched on their edge. These leaning luxury homes add a dimension of depth to the landscape by jutting out from the soft curves of nature and against the otherwise linear crowd of neighboring houses.
With increasingly abstract and sometimes absurd architectural designs mottling urban metropolises, there is no telling whether they will have a congruous theme in the future.
