The Augustin Teboul Winter 2012/13 Collection uses an array of black to create edgy sophistication. The designer duo Augustin Teboul flawlessly integrates its two contrasting personalities in this collection entitled ‘The Thread of Ariane,’ referencing the Greek tale of clever problem solving. And, if this collection is solving anything it is how to look remarkably fashionable.
The collaboration of the designer duo is described on the Augustin Teboul website as a mixing of the German-born Annelie Augustin, “subtle, minimal shapes and sophisticated mind” with the French-born Odély Teboul, “the rather chaotic, nostalgic craftsman.” The blend is fashion harmony.
Using a variety of shapes and fabrics the collection blends historical flapper-inspired shapes with rocker chic. From the intricately detailed beading on the extravagant headpieces to the strong leather accents, the collection provides pieces for the contemporary goth romantic.
