Space Station Time Trackers
The Asymmetry Watch is Inspired by the ISS of the Future

By: Michael Hines (Superstar) Jan 23, 12
{SummaryTitle}

You wouldn’t know it at first glance, but the Asymmetry Watch is actually inspired by outer space. Designer Cory Farris used the asymmetrical plating found on the hulls of futuristic space stations as inspiration for this watch. The watch itself isn’t uneven or covered in space-proof plating. The face of the watch is where the asymmetrical plating can be found.

The watch looks deceptively difficult to read with its many uneven plates, but is actually quite simple. The watch has a small red hand that tells the hour and three bars of light that tell the minutes. The Asymmetry Watch was submitted to the TokyoFlash Design Blog. Many a concept watch has become a reality through this blog, so don’t be shocked if you see Farris’ watch on wrists sometime in the near future.
