Rebeca Saray Gude's Ashes to Ashes Series is Elegant and Edgy

With the fall season on the horizon, and therefore the Halloween holiday looming ever closer, there will be more and more photo shoots like this one titled Ashes to Ashes. Ghoulish yet glamorous, its sinister vibe is tempered by the elegant and edgy outfits worn by the model, who appropriately goes by the name of Darkmoon.

As though inspired by a Tim Burton film, the Ashes to Ashes photo series has a dark and subtly strange theme.

Shot by Madrid-based photographer Rebeca Saray Gude, who was assisted by David Lopez, the Ashes to Ashes photo series may have a gloomy air to it, yet there is an almost hopeful look in Darkmoon’s eyes, as though these sad and, let’s face it, scary days will soon be over.
