Impossible Skateboard Captures
The Arthur King ‘I Want to Skate’ Series is Conceptual

By: Romina S. Cortellucci (Star) Jun 10, 12
{SummaryTitle}

The Arthur King ‘I Want to Skate’ series imagines up some wild boards. French artist and art director Arthur King dreamed up all the wacky objects he could possible use as decks. After King’s fantasies were actualized, the skateboards were then photographed by Hugues Lawson-Body.

One can only imagine how difficult it would be to ride a Casio keyboard, or a super-sized sandwich. King has some understandable aspirations, yet there is no rhyme or reason to most objects King wishes to glide on. Some of his ideas such as the bed of nails is a much less appealing possibility.

Though these boards are unlikely to be coming to a skate shop near you, they do provide a great visualization of the impossible.
