The American Apparel Creative Reuse program is pretty darn admirable. Revealed on Earth Day, it essentially makes every bit of material count.
If you’re not familiar with the process of producing garments, you may not know that scraps of materials are often chucked after cut out of the mix. With the American Apparel Creative Reuse program, they take the scraps and create something stylish out of it. Interestingly, they even sell bags of the discarded material for crafty individuals to use.
