Akina's 'The Little Mermaid' is Cloth-Bound Illustrated Brilliance

‘The Little Mermaid’ is the latest in a series of exquisite handmade books by Akina Artefacts. Although these books take titles and themes from classic children’s literature, the Akina FAQ warns that the books contain some subtle violent themes that could warrant parental supervision.

‘The Little Mermaid’ is the third such children’s book from Akina. It’s illustrated and painstakingly hand-bound by Lang Leav. ‘The Little Mermaid’ also features rivet details, a fold-out fine art print, a pop-up cover, embossed pages, and an artist’s statement. Due to the time and care it takes to create these works of art, each release is limited to 100 numbered and signed books.
