In the documentary ‘Ai Wei Wei: Never Sorry,’ the artist stresses the necessity of connecting to people, sharing and documenting everything. Wei Wei posts hundreds of tweets daily and encourages everyone to participate in social media.

In the film, Wei Wei documents police attacks against him for his political activism and posts pictures via Twitter. Throughout, he also discusses the several art projects he has worked on through the years that are considered to be radical and a direct opposition to the government. Wei Wei believes in freedom, fights against oppression and remains relentless. Wei Wei uses twitter as a tool to speak out—people should follow suit and tweet away.
