The Enrico Dini 3D Printed Building is the First of its Kind

By: Allison Love (Rockstar) May 20, 10
{SummaryTitle}

The Enrico Dinis 3D printed building is the world’s first, and is made from one of the only printers able to print buildings. The machine “marks a vital step change from the shoebox-size 3D printing of today, to tomorrow’s ability to print complete structures on site.”

The printer essentially is a huge terminal that uses CAD software to create layers of sand that are bound together to create whole buildings after numerous layers are put down. The Enrico Dinis 3D printed building doesn’t require any human intervention and is still in the early stages of development.
